UnitedHealthGroup has appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

We do not sell, rent, lease or share your personal information to or with others with the following exceptions: (1) as may be required by applicable law or regulation; (2) your information is made available to a small number of UnitedHealthGroup employees who manage and administer this website and related outreach programs, and to limited personnel at Democracy, Data & Communications (or their successor or replacement), a firm that helps to administer and host this website and the related outreach programs; (3) it may be necessary for us to provide your information to contracted external partners (for example, the business that helps us send email) in order to respond to your inquiries or provide you with services or information requested by you, but in such cases they may only use the information provided for the specified use; (4) to protect our rights or interests in the event we believe someone is violating the law, misusing the site, or harming us or others; and (5) we may aggregate and de-identify information including personal information so that it can not be linked to any specific individual, and we may use and share this de-identified information without restriction.
